Jack Perkins confirmed at Blanchard Racing Team

Another Supercars co-drive has been announced as Jack Perkins was confirmed to continue at the Blanchard Racing Team to partner veteran James Courtney.

It’s long been predicted Perkins was to continue in his role after reuniting with Courtney last year finishing 18th at Sandown and 21st in the Repco Bathurst 1000.

Perkins joined Courtney at the Holden Racing Team as co-driver between 2016 and 2019 finishing a best of third in the final year.

The 2025 Repco Bathurst 1000 will be special for Perkins as it’s his 20th start in The Great Race.

“I am thrilled to re-join Blanchard Racing Team and partner with my friend JC and the BRT crew in the Snowy River Mustang for 2025,” said Perkins.

“James and I have shared a successful history together, and we’re eager to battle our way to the front of the grid and challenge for podiums throughout the endurance rounds.”

“It’s an honour to be JC’s final co-driver, and I’m eager to add more achievements to our records.”

Courtney is excited to have a fellow experienced driver in Perkins join him for the endurance events at The Bend and Bathurst.

“Partnering with Jack again truly feels like a full-circle moment, especially when reflecting on our past successes, like the Gold Coast victory and our podium finish at the 2019 Great Race,” said Courtney.

“I can’t think of a better way to cap off my full-time Supercars journey than alongside a friend and a fierce competitor like Jack.”

Team owner Tim Blanchard is keen to welcome back the experience of Perkins to the team.

“Welcoming Jack back to the team alongside James is a promising development for BRT as we enter another ambitious endurance campaign,” explained Blanchard.

“Jack’s depth of experience and his knack for performance under pressure are invaluable as we aim to propel BRT to new heights.”

Just one spot among the main Supercars teams remains at PremiAir Racing, but Nash Morris is favourite to take the seat.
The Enduro Cup begins at The Bend for the first endurance event at the venue on September 12-14.
