Matt Stone Racing first to reveal indigenous liveries

The first indigenous liveries have been revealed by Matt Stone Racing ahead of debuting at the Bosch Power Tools Perth Super 440.

Due to the tight timeframe between Perth and Darwin, Matt Stone Racing will have its indigenous livery designed by Billy-Jay O’Toole in place for these two rounds.

A fortnight separates the two events, with the crew flying home between the two rounds, while the team transporters make the trek from Perth to Hidden Valley.

O’Toole’s featured artwork has been adapted to fit the two Camaros by noted livery designer Nick Moss.

Nick Percat’s Bendix Racing livery is largely the same as last year, while Cam Hill will have Supaglass as his major backer this season instead of Dabble ensuring a move from purple to black.

The Percat Camaro livery connects the Wadawurrung Country featuring the Bunjil (Wedged Tail Eagle), Waa (Crow) and Pawan (Magpie).

Hill’s livery focuses on O’Toole’s artwork, Hands and Water, featuring sand dunes and meeting places.

Teams will either apply indigenous liveries at Wanneroo Raceway or at Hidden Valley, with Tuesday being the cut off for Perth as teams need to be in Darwin by the next Sunday.

A sponsor activation requires MSR to leave Perth early to journey up to Port Headland before heading to Darwin.
