Zak Best will make a return to the Repco Supercars Championship paddock, while Brad Vaughan will saddle up for his second endurance season.
Best returns after missing out an opportunity to contest last year’s endurance races and will team up with Aaron Cameron in the Blanchard Racing Team Ford Mustang GT.
A three-time runner up in the Dunlop Super2 Series, Best is a Supercars pole winner after a stunning performance in qualifying at The Bend in 2022.
Best’s last Bathurst in 2023 partnering James Courtney is his highest finish in sixth, but due to Tickford Racing slimming down its operation in 2024 from four to two entries he missed out on a seat.
“I am beyond excited to join BRT and partner with Aaron Cameron for the 2025 endurance rounds,” said Best.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to prove myself in main game Supercars and am committed to delivering my best performance.
“I can’t wait to get behind the wheel and show what we can achieve as a team.”
As for Vaughan, he is also a former Tickford Racing product having been part of its Super2 program for the previous two season before joining Brad Jones Racing this season.
Vaughan made his Supercars debut last year as part of Matt Chadha Motorsport’s Wildcard entries at Sandown and Bathurst, but completes BJR’s 2025 endurance line-up by teaming with Bryce Fullwood.
“Super excited to partner up for the Enduros with Bryce,” he said.
“I’ve been getting along well with everyone at BJR, and Bryce has been super helpful with my Super2 program already.
“It’ll be great to head to Tailem Bend for an enduro race this year. Exciting to have a home race! So that’s very, very special. Hopefully we have some good results.”
Just three endurance seats remain for Shell V-Power Motorsport Park and Bathurst.
PremiAir Racing’s seat alongside Richie Stanaway is expected to go to rookie Nash Morris, while the Blanchard Racing Team’s final seat is set to be retained by Jack Perkins alongside veteran James Courtney.
Matt Stone Racing’s Wildcard for Cameron Crick is still in play.
