Multiple New Zealand and European Rally Championship winner Hayden Paddon alongside regular navigator John Kennard will contest the 2025 Shannons Adelaide Rally driving his familiar Hyundai i20N Rally 2 in the newly launched Rally Pro Class.
Currently leading the EROAD Australian Rally Championship, Paddon enters the event as on elf the favourites to win the $20,000 grand prize for the outright winners of the event.
Paddon will go up against ARC rival and fellow Hyundai driver Alex Rullo in what will add an exciting dimension to the Shannons Adelaide Rally showcasing the latest Rally 2-specification models on tarmac.
Vastly experienced after reaching the heights of the World Rally Championship, Paddon is also an Asia-Pacific Rally Champion and is the sole driver to win an event at the top-level from the antipodes following his victory in the Rally Argentina.
It is expected more than 400 entries will contest the 2025 Shannons Adelaide Rally representing a wide array of manufacturers and models.
Competitors will compete across 30 closed-road stages through the surrounding areas of Adelaide including the famed hills area.
The Shannons Adelaide Rally will take place on November 21-23.
