Jayden Ojeda replaces Richie Stanaway at PremiAir Racing

Following the announcement made by PremiAir Racing it was splitting with Richie Stanaway, the team has confirmed its new-for-2026 signing Jayden Ojeda will contest the final two rounds of the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship.

Stanaway was already on his way at PremiAir Racing at the end of this season, but following a discussion at the Gold Coast 500 the decision was made sooner.

Ojeda will step in after being part of Walkinshaw Andretti United’s endurance line-up this season where he and Ryan Wood were in contention for a Bathurst victory.

Making the move to a full-time seat in 2026, the two rounds will provide Ojeda a solid grounding prior to the opener in Sydney next year.

“PremiAir Racing confirms that Jayden Ojeda will take over driving duties of the #62 PremiAir Racing Camaro for the remainder of the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship season,” the team said in a statement.

“This update follows the team’s recent announcement of an all-new driver line-up for 2026, which will see Ojeda and Declan Fraser join PremiAir Racing in full-time roles next year.

“Jayden will take to the track in the #62 Camaro at the upcoming Sandown 500 and Adelaide Grand Final, gaining valuable experience ahead of his first full-time Supercars campaign with the team in 2026.

“PremiAir Racing remains focused on developing emerging talent and building a strong foundation for future success in the Repco Supercars Championship.”

Joining Ojeda at PremiAir Racing next year is Declan Fraser as Stanaway’s full-time career appears over and James Golding moves to the Blanchard Racing Team for 2026.
