It was a shortened opening event of the New Zealand doubleheader in Taupo, but it’s still Shell V-Power Racing Team’s Brodie Kostecki leading the way at the top of the Repco Supercars Championship standings.
Kostecki won the opening race at Taupo and finished fourth in the second to leave the North Island 19-points ahead of Red Bull Ampol Racing driver Broc Feeney.
Then there is quite a distance to third placed Matt Payne of 69-points, while Cam Waters is a further 25 in arrears.
Rounding out the top five is the current leader of the Jason Richards Memorial Trophy and Toyota’s first race winner Ryan Wood, who is further 11-points.
The next group consisting of Anton De Pasquale, Chaz Mostert, Jack Le Brocq, Will Brown and James Golding are separated by 41-points to complete the top 10.
Just outside the first 10 positions are Kai Allen and Thomas Randle.
