Broc Feeney extends Repco Sprint Cup lead following Tasmania

Symmons Plains provided some key moments in the chase for the Repco Sprint Cup as Broc Feeney extended his lead in contrast to title rival Brodie Kostecki trip to Tasmania.

Feeney now leads the Repco Sprint Cup by 90-points ahead of Matt Payne following a strong round for Penrite Racing.

Kostecki now sits third in the standings, 173-points behind Feeney following a tough outing at Symmons Plains due to contact and mechanical problems.

More than 100-points behind Kostecki is Cam Waters and rounding out an all-Ford top five in the standings is Kai Allen.

Just 26-points separate Waters, Allen and the sole Chevrolet in the top 10, DEWALT Racing’s Anton De Pasquale.

Ryan Wood is the lead Toyota representative 32-points off De Pasquale, while Will Brown has made up ground in eighth after a lacklustre start to the season.

Rounding out the top 10 are James Golding and reigning champion Chaz Mostert, who is not safe from being knocked out of the Finals race.

Jack Le Brocq is 58-points from Mostert and is bringing recent race winner Andre Heimgartner with him.

The next round of the Repco Supercars Championship is at Hidden Valley Raceway for the Darwin Triple Crown on June 19-21.
