Aaron Seton will continue his role as co-driver at Matt Stone Racing, but will step up to team with Supercars rookie Zach Bates.
Seton has been a mainstay of Matt Stone Racing’s endurance programs when he first debuted in 2022 and made his return as part of its Wildcard entry alongside Cameron Crick.
The 27-year-old comes from a storied pedigree being the son of two-time Australian Touring Car Championship Glenn and grandson of 1965 Bathurst 500 Bo, who passed away this month.
In addition to his appearances at The Bend and Bathurst, Seton will make his solo Supercars debut at Queensland Raceway in a Matt Stone Racing Wildcard entry.
“I’m really excited to be back with Matt Stone Racing for 2026,” said Seton.
“Last year’s wildcard program was a great step forward for me, not just in terms of results but also in building strong relationships within the team.
“Zach is a great young guy and a massive talent, I’m excited to take on this year’s enduro season with him alongside the wildcard entry and hopefully bring home some strong results for the team.”
Matt Stone Racing’s endurance line-up is now complete after Crick was announced to partner Jack Le Brocq and will also completed a Wildcard weekend at Townsville.
Team Owner Matt Stone is excited to inject youth to the squad once again.
“Continuing with him was an easy decision. This year is about backing our people and building consistency as we keep moving forward.
“We’re not here to stand still; we’re here to keep climbing and we’re excited to have Aaron onboard in 2026.”
