Popular ex-Haas Team Principal Guenther Steiner will be in attendance at this year’s Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival.
Steiner’s star has risen off the back of his appearance in the popular Netflix series Drive to Survive in his role as Team Principal of Haas although he has departed the squad during the last off-season.
A vastly experienced motorsport professional, Steiner started in the World Rally Championship as part of Mazda and Ford’s entries, before transitioning into Formula 1 as Managing Director of Jaguar Racing between 2001 and 2003.
He was Technical Director at Red Bull Racing during its infancy and will be in Adelaide to discuss hid motorsport journey alongside current Formula 1 driver Valtteri Bottas, who will drive an ex-Larry Perkins Holden VK Commodore Group A touring car.
Steiner’s activities for the Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival will be revealed soon, but what has been confirmed is he will attend a meet and greet/book signing at the Honda Trackside Villa through event affiliate Experience500.
Held a week prior to the Rolex Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix, the Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival offers a unique opportunity to witness some locally and internationally significant racing models including the Mazda 787B.
Formula 1, touring cars, sportscars, open-wheelers and exotic road-going examples will all provide a thrilling weekend celebrating motorsport.
