The Repco Supercars Championship is back in Australia after its maiden doubleheader in New Zealand and Symmons Plains in Tasmania is the host.
Fifth event on the schedule enjoys one of the longest stints on the Australian Touring Car Championship/Supercars calendar and celebrates its 100th race this weekend.
Using the Super440 format consisting of one practice session on Friday, two 120km events on Saturday and a 200km finale on Sunday, the annual trip to Tasmania will feature soft or super-soft compound tyres depending on the race length.
Chevrolet teams have received a pair of parity adjustments, but can the Camaros match the pace of Ford and even newcomers Toyota? We will find out.
