PremiAir Racing’s Jayden Ojeda replicated his pace-setting form from the opening session to end Friday at The Bend quickest.
There was an even spread of manufacturers within the top 10, with Ojeda’s 1m 16.470s lap giving him the top spot ahead of DEWALT Racing’s Anton De Pasquale by just 0.070s.
Behind the two lead Chevrolets was the Mobil 1 Truck Assist Racing Toyota GR Supra of Ryan Wood, with the first Ford being that of Brodie Kostecki’s Shell V-Power Racing Team Mustang in fourth.
Snowy River Racing’s David Reynolds continued Team 18’s good day to be fifth from Penrite Racing’s Kai Allen, the Mobil 1 Optus Racing Supra of Chaz Mostert, Craig Lowndes in the Wildcard Camaro, Matt Payne and Will Brown completed the top 10.
Ojeda completed a Chevrolet sweep of the practice results in a first for the season.
Erebus Motorsport and Matt Stone Racing also appear strong too, with Cooper Murray 11th ahead of rookie Zach Bates.
Monster Castrol Racing’s Thomas Randle was 14th, with teammate Cam Waters back in 20th.
But both were ahead of Broc Feeney in 23rd.
The second co-driver session kicks off Saturday’s action at 9:50am ACST/10:20am AEST ahead of the fifth practice session, Boost Mobile Qualifying and the Top 10 Shootout at 5:00pm ACST/5:30pm AEST.
