Ferrari is on the lips of all revheads after the recent release of the eponymous movie last week, some of the Italian marque’s fastest and rarest will be on display at this year’s Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival.
Since it was founded in 1939 by Enzo Ferrari, the manufacturer has produced some of the world’s most desirable nameplates and a selected few will be in attendance during the Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival.
Coined the ‘Ferrari Spettacolo’, this will be the greatest gathering of special edition models of the Prancing Horse in the southern hemisphere. The demonstration supported by Ferrari Adelaide and the Zagame Automotive Group will feature on the Victoria Park section of the street circuit across both days.
Models confirmed include the mid-engine, 6.3-litre V12, hybrid LaFerrari, the high-performance, track-only FXX of which 30 were built, the 599XX, Enzo, F40 and more to be announced.
An autobiographical movie based on the 1991 biography Enzo Ferrari: The Man, the Cars, the Races, the Machine by motorsport journalist Brock Yates was recently released directed by Michael Mann and written by Troy Kennedy Martin.
A cast led by Adam Driver playing Enzo Ferrari also includes noted revhead Patrick Dempsey, Penelope Cruz and Jack O’Connell.
