A new livery has been revealed for Anton De Pasquale’s Chevrolet Camaro for Townsville, Gold Coast and Sandown.
The Team 18 Camaro will replace the yellow of DEWALT to the new Forge Grey of Stanley Black & Decker sister brand Cub Cadet, which will be naming rights at those three Supercars rounds.
Forge Grey will feature as the main colour, with Cub Cadet’s familiar yellow featuring in the lettering and slashes on the side.
De Pasquale sits sixth in the standings after winning the final race in Darwin as he upholds the Chevrolet honours at the front.
“Winning in Darwin last weekend was a massive boost for everyone at Team 18. The car was really strong, the team executed everything perfectly and it was a great reward for all the hard work that’s gone in this year.
“To roll into Townsville off the back of a win and unveil a new-look Cub Cadet Chevy at the same time is pretty exciting,” De Pasquale said.
Hopefully we can keep that momentum rolling.
“Obviously, last year at Townsville and Sandown I got a couple of podiums, so it’s really exciting to have Cub Cadet back with us to try and run it back.
“The car itself looks great. The grey’s really aggressive and sleek. I know it’s based off a lawnmower, but I think it looks like a fighter jet.
“I definitely want to take the fight to the rest of the field in this car.”
Memorable liveries to feature a similar hue include Russell Ingall’s ‘Silver Bullet’ Holden VT Commodore, the pair of Gibson Motorsport Ford AU Falcons, the Gen3 launch Chevrolet Camaro and recently, Thomas Randle’s New Zealander scheme.
