In response to the cancelled Sunday action at Taupo, the debut of Ruapuna on the Repco Supercars Championship calendar will consist of four races.
Taupo’s Sunday schedule was cancelled due to the imminent arrival of Cyclone Vaianu, with the third race of the event now being incorporated into Ruapuna’s event.
This affects Friday through an earlier practice session and qualifying, with a 120km race being held later in the day.
Qualifying will be the two-part elimination format featuring a 12-minute session for the entire field, before the top 10 go through to the eight-minute battle for pole.
Saturday and Sunday’s session remain unchanged.
