The Repco Supercars Championship warm up prior to The Bend 500 has descended into chaos after a sudden downpour mid-session.
Several drivers went off during the session including Snowy River Racing’s James Courtney and Penrite Racing driver Tim Slade at Turn 1, with the latter making the sand trap.

Despite teams electing to change to wets, there was still off-track excursions as next was Andre Heimgarter at Turn 1, then Jayden Ojeda at Turn 11.
Jackson Walls, Bayley Hall and Ryan Wood went off in the final five minutes of the session.
At the end of the warm up, times set during the early part of the session were the fastest led by the two Blanchard Racing Team Mustangs of James Golding and Aaron Cameron, respectively.
Wood was up next in the Mobil 1 Truck Assist Racing Toyota GR Supra from Penrite Racing’s Matt Payne, Zach Bates in the Bendix Racing Camaro, Matt Stone Racing’s Jack Le Brocq and Rylan Gray was seventh.
Monster Castrol Racing’s Cam Waters, Macauley Jones of Brad Jones Racing and Walls completed the top 10.
