Supercars testing resumes for Victorian-based teams

Four Victorian-based Supercars teams are completing preparations for the season’s conclusion at Winton Motor Raceway today, while two completed Evaluation Days for young drivers.

Erebus Motorsport, Walkinshaw Andretti United, Tickford Racing and Team 18 have returned to the track ahead of the month-long Supercars events at Sydney Motorsport Park.

Erebus and WAU are giving young drivers a test through the once-a-year Supercars Evaluation Day.

The Wildcard Commodore to be driven by Greg Murphy and Richie Stanaway has been handed over to members of its academy for the day.

Jaylyn Robotham and Reef McCarthy were given the opportunity to test, with Erebus endurance Jack Perkins on hand to mentor the duo.

In the WAU Wildcard run for Kurt Kostecki during this Supercars season, Super2 privateer Zane Morse was joined by Aaron Cameron and Cooper Webster to complete its respective Evaluation Day.

Tickford Racing has its full roster of drivers including Zak Best, who was confirmed yesterday to be joining Jack Le Brocq after Alex Premat was withdrawn due to international travel challenges.

James Golding joined Team 18’s regular drivers Scott Pye and Mark Winterbottom.
