The Repco Garage counts down the most insane police cars in the world.

  1. Italy – Lamborghini Gallardo/Huracan

Since 2004 Lamborghinis have been a staple of the Carabinieri through the Gallardo generations and recently the Huracan. Unfortunately, one Gallardo was written off after a civilian pulled out of a service station and clipped the Lamborghini into parked cars. Driven by an elite team of specialised drivers, the Lamborghini was used in high speed chases and to deliver urgent transplant organs.

The New South Wales police had use of a powerful HSV GTS in what was a send off for the Australian performance brand. The NSW police were lucky as it also received a FPV GT also, but these two muscle cars were used purely for show. Featuring the latest technologies at the time such as roof mounted cameras, onboard video, automatic number plate readers and much more.
