The Repco Supercars Championship will make its third trip to Taupo International Motorsport Park and here is all that needs to be known about the event.
It will be a busy fortnight for the Repco Supercars Championship teams and drivers as it starts this evening in Taupo with the Track to Town followed by a signing session beginning at 3pm NZST.
Action begins on Friday for two back-to-back 25-minute practice sessions at 1:50pm and 2:30pm.
Saturday has a stacked program headlined by two 120km races. Qualifying will be held for each race beginning at 10:15am for the opening event and 11:10am for the second.
Race 1 is due to commence at 1:55pm and the second event will start at 4:05pm.
Sunday features qualifying at 11:40am followed by a Top 10 Shootout from 12:35pm and the final race of the weekend beginning at 3:05pm (all times NZST. Minus two hours for AEST).
Support categories include the New Zealand Toyota 86 Championship, Central Muscle Cars and TA2.
Live coverage of the ITM Taupo Super440 will be broadcast through Kayo Sports and Fox Sports from 11:30am on Friday, Saturday at 7:30am and Sunday’s commences at 7:00am (Times in AEST).
Highlights on the Seven Network will be broadcast later the same evening.
Sky NZ will broadcast all three days beginning on Friday at 1:30pm, 9:30am on Saturday and Sunday’s coverage begins at 9:00am (all times NZST).
